The COLDmatic CM 625/CM725⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ is the ideal coldformer for complex formed parts with a diameter of up to 32 mm and a production rate of up to 180 parts per minute.

With the COLDmatic CM 625/CM 725, a variety of precision press parts can be manufactured extremely economically. This is also reflected in the wide parts range – with the grippers transporting both ultra-short and long parts safely and reliably.

  1. Variblock quick-change system
The Variblock is an exchangeable quick-locking module with self-centering individual blocks for punch and die sets. The Variblock modules can be equipped with tools outside the machine, parallel to ongoing production, and inserted into the machine using a gantry crane. No re-centering of the tools in the machine is necessary. The Variblock quick-change system forms the basis for fast and precisely repeatable tool change.

2. Compact machine


The machine boasts a compact design and takes up less space. Commissioning time is reduced to a minimum.
3. Transfer unit
The servo transfer unit allows individually adjustable opening/closing times for each gripper. For short tooling times, the production parameter settings are called up on the touch screen panel. The gripper units are set up on an adjusting device. All grippers are individually monitored, which guarantees high process reliability. The transfer unit offers optimized kinematics for complex parts. To increase process reliability and avoid impact marks, the finished parts are discharged gently after the last forming station using a discharge gripper.
4. Hatebur Connect
The machine is ready for any future requirements and offers full remote access. Therefore, all necessary updates and interfaces for Industry 4.0 can also be used.
5. Servo direct drive
The machine can optionally be equipped with a servo main drive, which, in combination with the servo transfer unit, expands the kinematic possibilities and working area of the machine.
6. Modular machine structure
Thanks to the modular machine structure, the CM 625 can be expanded to form the CM 725. If seven stations are necessary for the production of a new part, an additional station can be added to the CM 625 on site. This also makes the CM 625 future-proof for upcoming tasks.
7. Die and punch ejectors
The synchronous punch and die side ejectors are individually adjustable. They push the formed part out of the forming station and can also hold it in front of the die, if required. For each forming station, the ejector movement and the ejection time can be individually adjusted. Likewise, the compressed air brakes on the die side can be individually adjusted at each station.
Wire feeder/high speed shearing system
Together with the high speed shearing system, the accurate wire feeder forms the basis for handling complex formed parts. The servo-electric linear infeed provides precision-made and accurately-sized cut-offs. The shearing station operates without a bar stop and ensures maximum shearing quality. Thanks to the latest servo technology, the wire feeder is extremely low-maintenance and user-friendly.
9. Visualization
The user-friendly surface of the touch screen panel allows the machine to be operated easily. The panel always informs the operator about the relevant process parameters. The individual settings for the servo motors can be entered and saved via the panel. The settings are assigned to the workpieces and can be called up for fresh retooling. This results in production parameters that are always identical, no matter who the operator was.
10. Pre-heating induction system 10 (WS version)
Thanks to the pre-heating induction system, stainless steel and highly alloyed steels can also be processed. This expands the machine’s area of application. The arrangement of the heating coil close to the shearing station reduces power consumption and increases process stability. Using temperature regulation, challenging extrusion tasks can be performed.
